  • In 2019, I purchased my first Brother sewing machine and taught myself how to alter and rework clothing for my Depop, 29SheleResell.

After graduating from North Carolina A&T in 2022 with a degree in political science and public relations, I decided to deepen my industrial skills by enrolling in the Fundamentals of Industrial Sewing and Production course at Carhartt’s production facility in Detroit.

In 2023, I began working at David’s Bridal as an alteration specialist, tailoring special event and wedding gowns, where my responsibilities include fittings, garment construction, inventory management, and helping brides feel confident in their selections. I was recognized by Two18 in collaboration with Nike for recognizing #MaxxedOut youth in Detroit making big moves. Meanwhile, I continued to sew from home using both my Brother and Vevor industrial sewing machines to design and produce garments for Archived 29.

In 2024, I debuted my collection Neck Break at New York Fashion Week—an exploration of structure, motion, and constraint through upcycled textiles and raw finishes. In 2025, I followed with Cyber Fauna, a visually arresting collection shown during Paris Fashion Week, merging futuristic silhouettes with primal materials.
